There are 2 main types of the new driver CPC
1. The Initial Qualification (for all new licence holders) which consists of 2 new modules, for this you need to contact the DSA on 0300 200 1122 and complete ideally before you commence your practical training or these can be done after you have obtained your licence.
Please note: You will not be able to use your new licence to earn a living until you have completed the initial modules 2 & 4, furthermore, you will not be able to start your Periodic CPC training. All new licence holders will need to complete the 35 hours of Periodic training within 5 years of obtaining their new licence if they want to use the licence to earn a living.
2. Driver Periodic Training (for all LGV & PCV existing licence holders) consisting of 5 modules each 7 hoursin length, for this you will need to attend a JAUPT approved training centre and complete the 35 hours of training before September 10th. 2014, PCV will need to complete before September 10th. 2013.
JAUPT Approved for LGV / PCV all 5 modules
Me and a few others from my business decided to go for our HGV Licenses to make work easier, and CPC were hard working polite and great teachers to all of us, 5 star!
