I am very disappointed with the service I got from Skye UK Windows Ltd. An unreliable team. surveyor turned up a day late. Fitter 5 hours late on second day. Third and fourth day, did not turn up at all! Fifth day, late again! Glass in front door, 1 upside down and the other, fault in unit. On correcting this left damage to trims. Wrong glass put in back door. On correcting this damage to trims again. Old seal left on kitchen window resulting in existing trim dropping out. Seal which I had asked to be replaced if possible left with unfitting glued on rubber which fell off next day. On asking the company to amend these problems I was shouted at by the salesman and told 'the gasket was shot anyway, you haven't been charged for that'. The way he spoke to me left me feeling very low and upset. We have saved up and waited 3 years for these windows now have been left with an unsatisfactory job that we will have to learn to live with as the shoddy workmanship and after sales service appears to be acceptable.
