Today i purchased a karaoke machine for my sons birthday and i'm pleased to say he is delighted with it. This is a local business for me, so it seemed the obvious choice for my purchase. I'm a little scare of buying online as I prefer to see what I'm buying before I buy it. The customer service was excellent and the array of products in the store was superb. I'm very pleased I chose Birmingham Disco Centre and would definately recommend it to everyone :) *****

I can confirm that a lady did purchase a karaoke DVD player from us in December 2007. This product works perfectly well and her complaint was that the mic didnt work. We have shown the customer on more than one occasion how to switch the microphones on but she seemed to be unable to grasp the process In the last twelve months we have sold products to 7,327 different customers and this would not happen with rudeness and poor service. We appreciate that instruction manuals for electronic goods are not always the easiest to understand and we will always endeavour to help where we can

I purchased a karaoke machine from this shop in December 2007 and it has not worked since the first time I tried to use it. Here we are in May 2008 - I have no karaoke machine, no refund, the owner of the shop is rude and does not know the meaning of the words, "customer service". I have viisited the shop many times since my purchase in order to resolve this and have always remained polite. When I eventually asked for a refund, I was told, "see you in court!". I am now having to take out a claim against this shop in the Small Claims Court. Trading Standards are also involved. I could have brought the machine cheaper on line but thought buying local would give me better service - we live and learn!
