The company is run by one of the leading experts in employment and discrimination law. Taq Bains qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 and was called to the Bar in 2004. He was formerly head of legal services at the Commission for Racial Equality Midlands & Wales Regions. He was the head investigator on the CREs formal investigation into race discrimination in HM Prison Service and headed the investigation into the death in custody of Zahid Mubarek in Feltham Young Offenders Institute. He was a visiting lecturer on the LPC at De Montfort University and a national adviser on employment law issues to the Citizens Advice Service. He has been involved in several high profile cases including the leading disability discrimination case on mental impairment; Dunham v Ashford Windows [2005].
