Great Barr Sawmills Ltd

My Dad used to take me along to the sawmills when I was a nipper. He was always doing bits n' bobs here n' there, and there was always a need for a bit of timber, a fitting of somesort, or a particular nail. Whenever I go now, I love to take one of my sons with me, just so they can smell the wood and get the bug like i did !! Excellent service, excellent stock, staff are clued up, good for offcuts and spare ends, and most of all the prices. Hopefully, my sons will be writing this type of review when they're older, but I'm also hoping they'll have better things to do !

I have used this store and timber yard for 25 years. It offers a great service without charging the earth. Timber cut to size and shape. Advice and service freely given on every diy task. Excellent for amateurs like me! All at a reasonable cost.
