  They gaved me good price on Minis recon gear box and changed it in 2 days. They also came and pick the car up for me in very cheap price. Friendly service and car is running smooth as well fingers cross. Got one year with 24k mile warranty. thank you

  took my bmw x5 to driver transmissions and was quoted £1250 + vat then heard about s-y motors 1 mile away who did the it for £1050 + vat while i waited in there waiting room were i was fed with food and coffee 3 hours later i was on my way with a 12 month unlimited milage warranty cheers guys job well done !!!!!!!!!!!

  The automatic gearbox on my Audi A6 was reconditioned in the timescale as agreed and has a 12 month warrenty.It cost less than half of the price of a new Audi fitted box and so far is running smoothly.

• s&y motors bad customer service

  received a quote from s&y motors, to have a replacement gearbox for my iveco van, After 3 phone calls they assured me they had a box on the shelf. booked the van in and got a recovery from sheffield to birmingham, arrived to find the workshop didnt know we were comming, and they didnt have the box, they tried to tell me the gearbox was a ford transit box!!!! and they wanted to charge me £150 extra. They told me the guy (tony) who quoted me didnt work in thier workshop and it wasnt thier responsibility, they said as we were stuck there was nothing we could do but pay the price. rang round, went to gearbox services in hallesowen who did the job, knew what they were doing and we got the van back in 24hours! no bullsh*t
