Brief business description

The Midland Telecom Group is an amalgamation of 3 associated companies: Midland Telecom limited, Midland Telecom Services Limited and Midland TML Limited. Operating from one central base in Birmingham, each company complements the other enabling us to provide a complete voice and data solution (from telephone systems to VOIP) with our partners such as Siemensand Nortel.


Since we started trading over 20 years ago, we have sold and installed over 4000 business telephone systems in conjunction with Siemens, Nortel and other partners, to companies all over the United Kingdom. Our telephone systems and other solutions have ranged from simple 4 extension engineering firms to large multi site networks and VOIP, with all the very latest features and technology of Siemens, Norteland other partners deployed. Our broad customer base ranges from small one or two-person businesses to schools, health authorities, local councils, courts and blue chip multi national organisations (e.g. Siemens, Nortel, etc). In conjunction with companies such as Siemens and Nortel, we can provide telephone systems and network many sites together using numerous different methods including VOIP, SIP,, DPNSS, QSIG and Cor Net, as well as legacy protocols such as tie lines, AC15 and DC5.


We have developed a very strong reputation within our industry as being a reliable, stable technological telephone systems company, able to provide true end-to-end Turn Key solutions for voice ( telephone systems)and data communications (VOIP). We (not to mentions partners such as Norteland Siemens) have 20 years of experience in successfully implementing business telephone systems and data solutions to companies of all sizes, with any requirements.


The sales branch of the group is Midland Telecom Limited. We have gained many valuable years of experience in sales, marketing, and providing solutions, e.g. VOIP. Our telephone systems sales team and backroom staff are responsive, professional and highly competent nulldedicated to ensuring that the very best advice is offered and solutions are given to all of our customers, both new and existing. All of our employees are constantly upgrading their relevant knowledge in this ever changing industry, ensuring the very latest solutions for telephone systems, VOIP and other aspects can be deployed seamlessly.


We have a broad portfolio of partners (e.g. Nortel and Siemens), which enables us to listen expertly to our customersnull needs and recommend the correct solution for their bespoke requirements. Our support arm is Midland Telecom Services Limited, who implement all the installation, support and maintenance of all our telephone systems and others, both current and previous. Many of our engineering staff have worked with us since the companies were started, and hence have priceless experience and knowledge in implementing telephone systems, VOIP solutions(etc.) and problem solving.


We have a broad network of engineers covering the length and breadth of the UK, enabling our SLA emergency response time of 4 hours to any location in the country, thus ensuring optimum nullUp Timenull. Many of the Siemens, Nortel and other telephone systems we install ensure the nullfive 9snull reliability, with all modern Siemens, Nortel and other systems benefiting from remote diagnostics and maintenance. This ensures that we are able to diagnose faults ensuring a much faster fix time. 75% of telephone systems faults can now be fixed without a visit to the customer, with the added benefit that our in-house engineers are able to administer moves and changes to the VOIP, telephone systems or programming upon a written request from our customers.


All Nortel, Siemens and other wiring (including Cat5e, Cat6e and fibre backbones) is installed and planned in-house. Our installation and maintenance costs are very competitively priced with good value to our customers for telephone systems, VOIP etc.


In addition we have a Project Management Team who meticulously plan and manage all new orders, liaising with any relevant contractors to ensure a smooth and trouble free VOIP or other telephone systems installation. We have many years of experience in working closely with Siemens, Nortel and our other contractors, and we manage all ordering of products on our customersnull behalf.


The Project Management Team will also access and organise training on all new Siemens, Nortel, VOIP or other telephone systems, contracting industry trained professional trainers to be on site at the customernulls request whenever necessary, as training is a key part to any VOIP (etc.) installation.

The third company that completes our group and enables us to provide a True nullOne Stop Shopnull is Midland TML Limited. Midland TML started trading over 4 years ago. Having our own billing platform for lines, calls, VOIP and broadband, we are able to order and bill directly to the customer under our own trading banner at discounted competitive rates.


This now enables us to offer sales advice, project management, installation, VOIP, line planning and ordering, billing the customer direct, which complements the other companies perfectly.


Midland TML Limited have the added value services of broadband, non geographic numbers, hosted IP solutions, VOIP, data and LAN installations as well as VPN solutions in addition to our core lines and calls billing.
