The business says...Established since 1961 WEG are acknowledged as one of the largest manufacturers of electric motors in the world. Founded in 1997 WEG UK has seen rapid growth from 8,000sq ft to 50,000sq feet in 2006. From 1997 to 2002 most effort was placed on standard LV motors, however since 2002 with the introduction of Variable Speed Drives, Medium & High Voltage Motors, Control Gear and Transformers, we will ensure that WUK will continue to grow whilst each market share becomes mature.


WEG UK offers a diversified and integrated product range, which includes a full range of Low Voltage, Medium and High Voltage Electric Motors, Transformers, Generators, Variable Speed Drives and Motor Control Gear.


WEG are in keeping with the world’s best practices and are continually incorporating the latest technology into our product manufacturing processes, to confirm to the highest and most demanding total quality control standards which include ISO9001 and ISO14001.
