    I had a slipping chain due to some wear on a gear cog. My husband dropped the bike off when he was passing in the car and collected it. Rather than replacing just the cog, they had put on a new cheap set of gears and did not return the old, expensive gears to my husband - who is not a cyclist and, being a man, did not listen to what I told him. Anyway, I no longer have a very low gear and live on a hill so don't ride my bike.
